Trans Ka Tankers Management Company Limited ("Trans Ka") announces that, following its designation under the European Union's restrictive measures on 15 June 2026, it has suspended all commercial and operational activities with immediate effect.
This suspension covers the management and commercial operation of all vessels under its responsibility. Trans Ka has taken this step to ensure full compliance with applicable sanctions regulations and to protect its counterparties, partners and crew.
Trans Ka firmly rejects the grounds cited for its designation. The company has always operated in accordance with international maritime law and applicable regulations. Through its legal counsel, it has formally submitted evidence to the competent EU authorities and is actively seeking a review and removal of the designation.
